Description
Sorting is a fun, engaging way to group items by specific characteristics. Once a child can match a set of items and recognize the ways things are the same and different; they begin to group larger sets of items together (or sort) by attribute. Learning how to sort is a prerequisite skill for many other subject areas including, math, ELA, science, and activities of daily living.
You can print this file two ways:
•Print as is, for larger strips (10 inches in length) that can be bound together with a book ring. Use the label included, as an optional “cover” for this set of sorting strips
•Print two to a page (50% of the original size) to make task cards that are sized to fit inside a 4×6 Photo Keeper container.
